Silicon nitride nozzles and covers have the characteristics of oxidation resistance, high-temperature strength, and less sputter adhesion, which can prolong the service life of the welding parts.

In the five methods of silicon nitride production, GPSN is most commonly used to produce Si3N4 components. Here we introduce Gas pressure sintering (GPS):

Gas pressure sintering of silicon nitride is performed at a pressure of 1 to 10 MPa at a temperature of about 2000 ° C. The high nitrogen pressure suppresses the pyrolysis of silicon nitride. Due to the use of high-temperature sintering, it is sufficient to promote Si3N4 grain growth with the addition of fewer sintering aids and obtain high-toughness ceramics with long columnar grains in situ growth density of> 99%. High toughness, high strength, and good abrasion resistance can directly produce various complex-shaped products close to the final shape, which can greatly reduce production costs and processing costs.
