Hot Pressed Boron Nitride

Hot Pressed Boron Nitride (HBN)

Description

Hot Pressed Boron Nitride (HBN) with a hardness of about 4, is an advanced solid ceramic material. It is produced by sintering the boron nitride powder together into a solid material. As a machinable material, HBN boron nitride could be machined into all kinds of customized shapes, as long as the raw material is big enough.

Boron Carbide Parts China, Advanced Ceramics Division is a leading supplier of ceramic materials. We offer hot-pressed boride nitride products with high quality and competitive prices. Available HBN products include BN Ceramic crucibles, plates, machined parts, rods, tubes, insulator, nozzle, etc. We provide standard products & tailor-made products for hot-pressed boron nitride. Except for pure BN99, we also supply BN composites with silicon carbide, calcium borate, aluminum nitride, and zirconia, to fulfill various demands of the customers.

Boron nitride is a thermally and chemically resistant refractory compound of boron and nitrogen with the chemical formula BN. It is an advanced ceramic material available in solid and powder form.

There are various crystalline forms for BN. The hexagonal form corresponding to graphite is the most stable and soft form, it is therefore used as lubricant and additive to cosmetic products. The cubic (c-BN) variety analogous to diamond has a very high hardness which is second to diamond. The rare wurtzite boron nitride (w-BN) is similar to lonsdaleite, and it may even be harder than CBN. Boron nitride is not a naturally existing substance, and it is synthetic.
